Located in the leafy residential village of Billinge, Birchley Hall is just three miles to the north-east of St Helens, four miles to the south-west of Wigan, 15 miles to the east of Liverpool and 26 miles to the west of Manchester. It is easily accessible by car, bus and rail.
Rooms at Birchley – most of which are en-suite, and undergoing a programme of refurbishment – provide safe, comfortable and welcoming personal spaces, complete with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and smart TVs. A dedicated lifestyle and well-being officer organises a range of activities and social events, which are tailored to a resident’s strengths, capabilities and interests. These are themed around key seasonal and topical themes and may include sporting events, reminiscence through music or gardening. Great emphasis is also placed on providing a varied range of delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals – freshly made on the premises.
